Scratch a dog and you will find a permanent job

I have recently had to write an assignment on "what a friend is to me" and that is when I realised that lying on my feet in her stripey pyjamas was the perfect friend. Lola the stripey bull mastiff is 42kgs and still thinks she is a lap dog. She is loyal,trustworthy, friendly, kind, she never tells my secrets to anyone, she has impeccable taste and tells me this by eating my old fashioned shoes and she eats all the food to make sure I don't get fat. She is scared of the Christmas tree, odd hairstyles, lilos floating on the pool, black paint splodges on the wall, grass door mats and many other things. She is my pride and joy, my little dog...a heartbeat at my feet
